Linked here [Adobe Acrobat PDF - 73.43 MB] is the full 2011 rendition of the Snug Cove Village Plan (Redevelopment) and Ferry Marshalling concept document. This is the complete document and not the abridged version or the simplified companion website.
This document is the most complete and telling piece of communication that has come out this exercise and is well worth pouring over if you want to get a true sense of what is proposed. There is much to digest. This reader has gone over it a number of times and although many of the ideas are similar to what has been proposed in past years (named "The Loop Road" option, the "Double Lane Loading" option and so on, the ideas are further evolved in terms of thinking through the human use of this space and the idea of presenting a unified sense of architecture throughout the Cove and make it become a "designed space".
There is a scheduled Open House at Cates Hill Chapel. Here are the dates and times:
Thursday, June 16th
5:30 to 6:30
Saturday June 18th
10:00 am to 2:00 pm
People can see the enlarged architectural renderings up close. BIM Planner Hap Stelling, Consultant James Tuer and members of BIM Council will be there to take in the public comment and answer questions.
Below are a four overhead architectural renderings of the proposed ideas however [ download ] the full report. The drawings are numerous, in high resolution and telling of what is proposed with the 4 options.
